Two cards: chances and difficulties, plus a quintessence
Explanation revised: 2026-10-18
The "For and Against" spread helps you weigh a decision when you hesitate. The first card shows the arguments "for" — chances, opportunities and support. The second shows the arguments "against": difficulties, risks and obstacles. The quintessence card suggests which side of the scale outweighs the other. The service is free.
Frame your dilemma, optionally type it and press “Make a reading”. Compare the "for" and "against" cards, then look at the quintessence — it shows the overall tendency.
Tarot "For and Against" Spread is useful when you want a quick online result, a symbolic hint or a starting point for reflection. It is suitable for personal use, comparison of options and a calm pause before a decision.
The result is informational and symbolic. It does not replace professional advice and should not be used as the only basis for medical, legal, financial or other high-stakes decisions.
No. Read the individual card’s reversed meaning together with the question and spread position. Reversal can indicate a blocked, excessive or inward expression; it is not a measured probability or a verdict.
