The most famous and influential Tarot deck in the world. It was conceived by the occultist Arthur Edward Waite and drawn by the artist Pamela Colman Smith; first published in 1909 by the London house Rider. The deck's key innovation is its fully scenic Minor Arcana: instead of plain suit pips, every card carries a living scene that makes its meaning easy to read. Thanks to its clear symbolism and accessible imagery, this system became the standard for most modern decks and schools of Tarot reading. The images of this deck are also used in the services of our portal.
