What the Gua number is
The Gua number (from 1 to 9, except 5) is calculated from your birth year and gender. It determines your personal element and divides people into two groups: East (numbers 1, 3, 4, 9) and West (2, 6, 7, 8). Each group has its own favorable and unfavorable directions.
How the Gua is calculated
